Are you ready to let God lead your business?
You may have already found a community of like-minded business owners, but I hope to offer my ideas on what it takes to achieve a sense of connection and support in your journey.
Many people believe feeling isolated is an unavoidable part of entrepreneurship, but that may be holding you back.
If you’re struggling with feeling disconnected from other business owners, this is the place for you.
Ready to dive into a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into overcoming isolation as a believer in business?
Always Remember to Challenge Limiting Beliefs
If you’ve been finding yourself dwelling on thoughts of isolation or disconnection, you may want to challenge those thoughts.
Ask yourself, why do I think this way and who benefits from these thoughts? God calls us to take every thought captive (2 Corinthians 10:5). We are in a spiritual war: a battle for our minds. Renewing our minds with God’s Word is crucial to prevent the enemy from gaining a foothold.
“As a man thinks, so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7).
Hint: I have another post on combating negative thoughts and imposter syndrome over here.
My Routine for Overcoming Isolation
I am happy to say that I have found ways to cope with isolation in my business journey, and my routine directly influences my ability to feel connected and supported.
A day in my life looks a little like this:
- Morning: I start my day with prayer and meditation on the Word, setting positive intentions for connection.
- Noon: I make time for a coffee chat or a networking call with fellow believers in business.
- Evening: Evenings are reserved for quality time with my husband and engaging in hobbies that rejuvenate me.
How is your routine fostering connections and supporting your business goals?
Don’t be afraid to adjust it to better suit your needs and priorities.
You need Resilience
Now, just because you may currently feel isolated doesn’t mean you can’t overcome it.
This does mean you need to prioritize building resilience and seek out supportive communities. When you start to feel alone, you’ll need tools to help you overcome these feelings.
Let’s be specific in planning how you will cultivate resilience:
- Step #1: Engage in daily affirmations and gratitude practices to foster a positive mindset.
- Step #2: Pray that God will surround you with believers who will lift you up and walk with you in business and in life.
- Step #3: Join our BIB Facebook group! (It’s absolutely FREE!) Our community is full of women who are just like you. We want you to feel connected, loved, and prayed for.
Wrapping it up!
